I have just received your letter this morning. It was a pleasant surprise to hear from you and I am really happy to know there are still such theater groups in the world and I am also thrilled considering that your group wants to present us one of your theater programs. Since we are looking forward to meeting you, I am writing this letter to ask for more detailed information.
First of all, I am really interested in finding out some real information about you and your group. For instance, when and how was your group founded? In your letter is mentioned that you are amateurs but that does not matter for us as long as you are dedicated to your work and to theater in general.
Furthermore, I would like to know exactly when you and your group will be arriving in Romania because we also want to present you an extract from the play Hamlet. Therefore, it is very important to us to know which part of the play you are planning to perform.
Second of all, I would appreciate if your program could last two hours instead of three hours so that we could start at seven o’clock because we thought about inviting you to join us for dinner after the program. It will be our treat.
Finally, I am really interested in meeting you because I think we could do something beautiful all together regarding the fact that we have a common passion: theater. Also, I want you to know that our group is named “D2T” which means “Drama to Theater” and we have been performing on the greatest stages in our country for almost seven years. I am looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.
What are the main differences between growing up in a large or small family? Which is best for you?
The differences between growing up in a large or small family are a highly debated topic nowadays. Therefore, parents have to take into consideration whether it is better for their children to grow up in a large family or in a small one because there can be both advantages and disadvantages. I suppose one of the main differences is that in a small family the child might get more attention from his parents while in a large family children may not receive the same amount of attention which can make them feel misplaced or disfavored. Furthermore, an only child can feel lonely or even has the tendency to become retreated whereas children from large families will never feel lonely and will grow up to be more sociable. Not to mention that children without siblings are purportedly spoiled, precocious, selfish, headstrong and generally bratty while those with brothers and sisters are exactly the opposite. In contrast, in a big family with grandparents and several children it could be harder to have some time to yourself whereas in a small family the child benefits from more privacy and time for himself. As well, a family’s financial condition is tightly related to the size of the family so I strongly believe another main difference is that the living costs for a large family are surely much higher than those for a smaller one. As a result, children from a large family would have less financial support from their parents while in a small family parents can give more resources to their children such as better education or better opportunities to develop their skills at a higher level. I think growing up in a small family was the best for me as I am an only child. My luck was that my parents also played the role of siblings. I grew up to be well-mannered, wise, gregarious and realistic so I am happy with my family and I would not change it for anything in the world.
It was a pleasure to hear from you. With reference to your letter,I am writing to ask information about your next month arrival .
First of all, I would appreciate if you could give me further details concerning more information about your amateur theatre group .I know you would like to meet members of similar groups in Europe but I have to know more about your group before you come and present a programme to my members. I am the organiser of a theatre club in Giurgiu named „Royal ”.. we are a well-organised theatre group and our dedication will always remain central to what we do.We are not very famous but I hope we will become in time. People who work in this theatre are very nice , we think that creativity is a mysterious thing that very few people can do and my club is looking for new talented actors.
Furthermore,I would like to know when exactly you will be visiting our area next month because I have to find accomodation for all of you for one night and this is not easy at all considering that you are twenty people.
Second of all, performing an extract from „Hamlet” is a wonderful idea because my actors are in love with Shakespeare ,they know all of his plays .I would like to know which part of play you perform to help you with the setting and I would suggest a two-hour programme and starting at 7:00 pm ..I think it is better this way otherwise everyone would get tired or bored.
Finally,I think it is a great ideea to present a programme to my members and to have a question and answer session .I am sure that my group will be really interested in meeting you and I am sure they will enjoy every second of your stay in our town. One more thing I would also like to know is if you want dinner before or after the programme. Thank you in advance for your proposal.I am looking forward to hearing from you as soon as possible.
